In the game of the same name, “LifePods” are a product that were invented to fulfill all of humans' needs. With a battery lasting a lifetime, producing food, connected to a social network, everything. The pods got so popular that there were not enough people outside to maintain society, even with robots. The world just ended.
The game starts with you waking up in a post-apocalyptic world. With others that have no clue how to survive and a robot that does but no one listens to, you have to find a way forward. The robot has chosen you to lead the colony and what other choice do you have? You must now find a way to feed everyone, keep their trust, repair LifePods and find how things got so bad. Good luck.
